Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I've had that one too CH.

200 miles north on the A1(M) a sign telling me that there are serious hold ups on the A46 junction. All of my possible routes south intersect somewhere with the A46 so WHICH JUNCTION IS IT?????????????

:)

there were no signs telling me of delays only 10 miles further along the road and no more about the A46 until I'd irrevocably picked a route option (the delay was on the one I picked (or - just possibly - on all of them :()

Large electronic display boards were put up along our stretch of the A14 during some over-long roadworks. They were covered with large yellow printed signs saying 'sign not yet in use' for months.
When they finally were in use, they displayed such gems as "London 2012. Plan Your Journey. Arrive On Time".
You know, I'd *never* have even thought about planning my journey to arrive on time without multimillion pound overhead gantries to tell me so! God Bless the Highways Agency!

Will Crash
Little chavs in very small cars who drive too fast, are quite clearly pubescent and can't see past the end of their blinking bonnet.

Fragile Do Not Bend
People I don't know trying to engage me in conversation by asking lots of personal questions and not taking the hint that I'm uncomfortable talking about personal stuff with strangers. I know they mean well but wish they could tell I want them to go away and leave me alone!
