Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

My cookery-loving son watches that rubbish as well. Not to mention Gordon 'I'm famous so I automatically get a VLM place every year' Ramsey.

Duplicate races on the race portfolio, they make me twitchy and I end up sending loads of duplicate race reports to Fetch. I'm not sure how people manage to not notice the race is already there when they add a duplicate copy of it.

Fetch needs to employ me to manage the race database. ;)

Barry Scott. The sooner I'm back at work, the better. I'm trying to relax on the sofa and he's there SHOUTING on my TV. The utter cockwomble.

On a positive note, my punchbag is called Barry Scott and I get to punch him repeatedly in the head.

On the whole, I don't mind self service tills too much, I've got used to them and there is usually less of a queue for them.

But I am totally fed up with the the ones at Boots as they never ever seem to have a member of staff assigned to sorting out the problems. The one I used today threw up problems TWICE, and both times I had to stand there for ages trying to attract a member of staff's attention whilst the thing bleated 'Approval Needed' at me endlessly. It wasn't as if the shop was busy either.

I always get static shocks from the self service tills in Boots - not just one particular branch, either. That ground my gears so much I stopped shopping in Boots altogether.
