Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Isn't much of the unpredictable movement or cessation of it by large numbers of people, singly or collectively, because of the unjustified and inordinate importance they attach to worshipping their mobile communication devices?

The increasingly ludicrous text on souvenir race shirts.

"13.1 is my lucky number" covering the entire back of the 2015 Hackney Half shirt, for example.

Even "FINISHER" across the front of the JP Morgan Corp Challenge shirt bugs me.

I used to think I'd never need to buy any short sleeved running tops as I have a ready supply of race shirts.

Or maybe I'm just becoming a grumpy(er) old git.

[:-o Duchess :-o. You can't say that! It's for charity]

So, obviously :-p I've also been having thoughts about the apparent decline in people's spatial awareness. I had wondered if it was just me being over-aware, as it seems that quite rapidly a lot of people seem to be losing a basic sense of where they are, where other people are; and any relationship between the two.

Having written that, yesterday I did manage to back into someone in a largish shop in which we may have been the only two customers inside.

[I have two, one from GF, one from GF's mum. I'm going to be controversial here, but occasionally it can be quite therapeutic colouring in]

Colouring books for adults??? That's a thing? That's ridiculous. I mean, the blooming kids ones are hard enough.

That's two of us, Sazzahazza. I shifted a number of burgers at a school fair on Saturday. My wife took remainder home for Saturday and Sunday dinner too. Feel rather bloated and didn't even get out for a run. A severe case of indiscipline on my part.
