Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I heard that dog walkers that do an out and back walk hang it on the tree to save carrying it around and then collect it on the way back. I just wonder how many 'forget' to collect it.

It's not the weight that makes dropping it in order to collect it on the way back a good idea. It's because it's a bag of dog shit.

We often do this (although placing it to the side of the path, or on a prominent rock or tree stump). But we don't forget to collect it on the way back.

Young mothers (they're usually young ... but not always) pushing their children in forward facing pushchairs while talking on the phone. TALK TO YOUR CHILD !

I think you're right that they're young mothers - more interested in their friend on the phone than their child which should always take priority. A very young couple boarded my bus recently, pushed their child into the buggy/wheelchair part and sat down. The only time they spoke to the child was to shout at him/her for getting upset. >:(

My daughter has a disability and uses a forward-facing pushchair. It doesn't stop me talking to her or coming down alongside her. Good point z1000jeff!

People who overtake me in their cars when I'm on my bicycle with my hand out indicating right.

People who overtake me in their cars when I'm turning left on a roundabout on my bike and immediately I've got to get around a parked car and worry where the overtaker is.
