Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

People acting like the world is over due to a game of football.

Also, all those lovely (mostly) men who have recently massively increased domestic violence incidents in the name of said game of football...

BBC News front page over last few days: They have a section headed 2014 Fifa world cup containing world cup news, and then a section headed Sport - which also contains world cup news, sometimes only world cup news. There is other sport going on. England had a very good day at the test match yesterday - isn't that newsworthy? Keep the world cup stories in the world cup section and remember there is other sport going on

All the adverts for on-line bingo which show 'typical bingo goers' out and about and having a jolly good wheeze all together in the sunshine.

Which is the opposite of what I imagine a typical on-line bingo player to be interested in (social interaction, the sunshine, having fun etc etc.)
