People who say things like,
"I would like to say it has been a time of reflection for me. I have learned some valuable lessons and hopefully I am the wiser for it."
...and expect us to fall for it.

Gumtree sellers who don't respond to messages from people who want to buy what they're selling, even if it is just to say that the item's been sold.

Holiday makers wandering towards you with screaming kids and dog on extenda lead who seem unable to see you despite wearing fluorescent yellow and puffing along like a steam train (while running along the prom mainly) causing multiple points less changes in direction.,

Having to reassure my mum that just because I've stopped eating meat at home for health/cost reasons doesn't mean I'm on a "slippery slope to being a vegan". She read an article in some magazine recently about a woman who only eats raw fruit & veg, and is worried that I'll end up doing the same.

Running mum - that makes sense, didn't think of that. Still, I'd assume if you're looking to sell something you'd check for messages, especially when you don't provide a phone number on the ad. Ah well, I found what I wanted elsewhere and cheaper too, so it's their loss.

People who wander aimlessly across the pavement (or just stop) while looking at their mobile phone, making everyone else slow down or walk extra yards to go around them.
