Perhaps it's due to the larger numbers of runners out in January that I have particularlty noticed this phenomenon, but going out garbed completely in black after around 1600 is a tad dicey at this time of year when near traffic.

That's FOUR times I was nearly mown down on my run today, including twice when they came round a sharp corner. GET OFF the bloody PAVEMENT!! Aaaaaargh!

It pisses the hell out of me when people on bikes do twattish things like hammering along the pavement. Apart from being dangerous to legitimate pavement-users, it gets us all tarred with the same brush. I don't want to share my sport with grown men who are too scared to cycle on the road.
