There are houses only on one side and they have mahoosively long driveways on which at least five cars could be parked. Yet every morning there are two cars parked on the edge of the pavement leading to queues while people wait to get past them. The driveways are always empty.

And then totally ignore me when I email them to ask for details. I know I've moaned about this before, but there's one recruitment consultant in a big firm, who totally fails to contact me or respond to my emails, while her colleagues punt all kinds of stuff over to me.

It just seems to wait until I am outside, unprepared before starting. Yesterday's run was typical - bright sun, so I debated 'sunnies or not' - decided not as I though it would get cloudy. 15 mins later it's p*ssing down and I'm soaked.
