Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Half witted politicians who know b@gger all about Badgers and then complain that the cull they've authorised has failed to meet its targets because Badgers are "erm - elusive and secretive" and "only come out at night". Well knock me out with a dead squirrel you don't say?!. Have you never actually read "Wind in the Willows"? - there's a whole chapter entitled "Mr Badger" that accurately describes their character and behaviour.

Never mind Brian May - Just ask your nearest 8 year old.

Who votes for these arseh@les??

They've obviously hired some alleged "sniper" who couldn't hit a barn door never mind a badger, (are they on hire from G4S perhaps?) it's hilarious that the idiots are being outsmarted by badgers.

Actually May's analysis of the thing as a farce is pretty accurate. There's some evidence that, unable to shoot by conventional means, they are resorting to trapping and shooting (which is illegal) and that in some areas outside the cull areas farmers have declared open season on Badgers and are shooting them out of hand (also illegal). The whole thing is being driven by a small cabal of farmers who have a pathological hatred of wildlife, and large supermarkets who squeeze the life out of the rest. The politicos are just cow towing for votes and couldn't give a toss.

Cow towing sounds like a lot more fun than kowtowing.
