We all get those flyers through the door from the local pizza place, restaurant or visitor attraction. I have just received one such flyer inviting me to my 'local' pub, namely the Kings Head in Buxton. Problem is, the Kings Head is (checks Google) 205 miles away and just short of a 10 hour round trip. I'm sure its very nice, but that is a long way to go just to get "30% off all mains" and "2 drinks for £5"

They used it a couple of times then the novelty wore off. Eventually had it removed. When they did use it, it wasn't so much the noise it made that irritated but the stench of the chlorine in the water! ~
