Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

That before I can load the dishwasher and wash up the things that don’t go in it each evening, I have to unload it and dry up and put away everything I washed last night, even though there have been people home all or most of the day.

An otherwise decent article about achilles tendinopathy in the current issue of a running magazine having a photo captioned, "Tendons become less loosey-goosey as you get older."

[i'll be surprised if i've not mentioned this on here before, but...]

the growing use of a question mark at the end of a statement, e.g. "let us know what question you would like added to the report?"

IT'S A STATEMENT, NOT A QUESTION!! It doesn't need a question mark at the end. Grrrrr * shakes fist *

Ah but Gordon it matches the way it’s mostly spoken now, with lovely upward inflection at the end of every sentence. Grrr.

[Just want you both to know that I read your last posts with an upward inflection... ;) And was tempted to put a question mark at the end of that sentence but couldn't quite bring myself to do so!]
