Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

Fragile Do Not Bend
Road Closed signs that give you no clue how far along the road the closure is, and indeed whether it’s that actual road that’s closed or a side street off of it.

Utility companies that take forever to remove the road closed signs once it has been reopened - which means that nobody ever believes the road closed signs and you end up with large vehicles trying to turn around in narrow lanes.

Trying to cancel a subscription is a 3 hour job. 1 hour trying to find the right contact number on their website, and 2 hours on hold / conversations with various departments...

'paranormal activity' programmes. You know, those ones with hundreds and hundreds of hours filming the 'paranormal' yet somehow have never captured a single bit of evidence to prove ghosts or other 'unworldly' activity.

Work Apple iPhone. Requires me to enter my convoluted 10 character passcode on a pokey little keyboard if I don't use the fingerprint sensor for 48 hours. (So every Monday morning!)

My fingerprints haven't changed over the weekend either....
