Bloody misery guts who lives across the road from my local parkrun and junior parkrun route, complaining all over social media about the clapping and cheering going on “for hours”. By his own admission he’s lived there less time than the parkrun has used that park. Thankfully most of the commenters have told him to shut up and get a life, in varying degrees of politeness. |

[I think I must have a different Twitter to other people] [I definitely have a different Twitter feed to OH who's forever boiling about something or other. My timeline comprises mainly the weatherman from Points West, traffic conditions on the M5, an art history guy, and the MERL in Reading. I enjoy reading my Twitter feed.] |

What sort of person stands outside their fish shop, opening champagne, insults the Queen and takes delight that she has passed away? Then is stupid enough to film themselves doing it and puts it on social media? Her customers in the village have already responded by pelting her shop with eggs and smashing the windows. Probably the end of her business too. Angry locals vindicated. |

Ally-C I said the same to my hubby! I'm afraid I don't understand this 'mass outpouring of grief' (for want of a better way of describing it). I'm sad that the Queen has died, but it was inevitable (as it is for all of us!).
