Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

[Over-the-road neighbours are rarely at home during the day - but they seem to arrange - phone, text? - for the driver to leave packages, placed in plastic bags, in the wheelie bin in the small garden in front of their house.]

Drivers who don't actually check if they have to "give way" until they reach the "give way" line (this is mostly for those blinkered tw*ts at roundabouts!)

Deliveries:
I paid for delivery today, I received a text with a time slot of 11.04-13:04, there is no tracking number, the item has not arrived. I need to go out to the supermarket and to walk the dog. At what point do I give up?

PenW, the only way to guarantee the delivery is for you not to be in

Royal Mail announcing that they have a backlog and serious issues with their business 'click and collect' packages system. That's terrific considering that the Brighton Marathon members' race packs are due to be delivered this week.

Stupid school uniform rules, especially when they are nowhere to be found on the website, so the first time you hear of it is when your daughter is reprimanded for not wearing correct uniform. Grrr.

(I hate school uniform as a concept. I've just spent five mins knotting Lala's new Year 7 tie and showing her how to tighten and loosen it. Proper knotting can wait til the weekend :) )
