Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

[My dad’s speech was nicely short, but he made a comment that unintentionally sounded like he was having a pop at my sister’s husband (he wasn’t) ]
We didn’t have a best man or bridesmaids and both husband and I made very short “thank you” speeches

Sky TV's delusion that football transfer deadline day is something a) important, and b) that the whole country should stop for. And i'm saying that as a football supporter

[My dad's speech was actually great, really funny, but I think a few people found it a bit off when he concluded by congratulating my sister on her first at uni].

[The minister who conducted the wedding did the main speech at my first wedding. He offered, said it was something he loved doing. He was later depulpited after being recorded making lewd remarks to his organist about a bride - not me - but appears to have been rehabilitated.]

Backwards facing seats in buses - I find it hard to sit on them without being at constant risk of falling, they make me feel sick, and I can’t see that they actually increase the seating capacity

The fact I’ve had to spend half of most week, and most of today, rectifying my colleagues numerous mistakes, while she goes “way, I’m new” as an excuse, despite having been in post for over a year

[We've got a similar troublemaker. She keeps doing things not by the book, trying to flag up issues that don't exist - and in doing so sews chaos and causes more work for her overworked and irritated colleagues]

[Oh, and she randomly waffles on in Teams team meetings about Lidl Dog Beds. She and the idiot manager think it's hi-i-larious. I seethe inwardly wanting to get back to work...]
