Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

My Sky box’s inability to recognise when a programme is over-running and not adjusting the end-recording time to suit.

I missed half a race of MotoGP today after the race was red-flagged and restarted following a crash and fire. (Both riders ok, I’m not completely heartless!)

^Fitz after suffering many similar instances I've just set my box (not Sky) to Series record the Chequered Flag program that's always scheduled after just in case.

My Sky seems to take it upon itself to record every single instance of a programme on series link, i.e Channel 4, Channel 4+1, HD, More4, 4Seven etc ending up in multiple recordings of the same programme.

Having a mega-urgent piece of work dropped on me on my Admin day that has taken up 3 hrs of my time, and when I've sent an email to my Manager asking for an extra half day of Admin time (given this extra work will be taking more of my time), it has gone unanswered. Cheers. Have two very enthusiastic middle fingers in your general direction, sir.

The person living nearby whom, I assume, is somehow oblivious or indifferent to their dog barking at all hours. Said animal clearly does not enjoy being left outside (alone, at a guess). Myself and the rest of the neighbourhood have to listen to its displeasure when we might otherwise be sleeping. Or even during sunny weekend afternoons, when we might like to sit in peace in our back gardens. Let the dog in, or let someone have it that actually gives a crap about it.
