People making out that going to a supermarket is such a nightmare. I’ve not had a single real issue, aside from amazement at some people’s inability to follow a one-way system. I think it’s just another symptom of how ready some are to be Self-righteous and outraged at the behaviour of others.

My instruction book supplied with my new camera gives more detail about how to connect to WiFi than how to use the camera.

Films, TV programmes about people who think they can't sing who go on to prove that they can't sing* but with ever-increasing frequency and VOLUME.

Cyclists on pavements. Either get off the bike or get off the pavement, it's really very simple.

[Not disagreeing in general about cyclists on pavements, but there are shades of grey that make it less than simple in some cases: "The introduction of the fixed penalty is not aimed at responsible cyclists who sometimes feel obliged to use the pavement out of fear of traffic and who show consideration to other pavement users when doing so. Chief Police Officers who are responsible for enforcement, acknowledge that many cyclists, particularly children and young people, are afraid to cycle on the road, sensitivity and careful use of police discretion is required"]

[I have been cycling on the footpath near home recently, with my pair of slightly mental four year olds. They are riding two wheels now, but clearly are NOT safe enough to go on the road. I tried riding on the road next to them to school one morning, but their pace and me needing to have eyes in three places at once (one on each of them, and on the road too) meant that it was a REAL struggle. Cars hated me because our roads are too narrow to pass me, and I was s-l-o-w. The kids also wanted to ride on the road with me, and couldn't understand why they couldn't do. So (SS), where unavoidable, I've been riding on the footpath. I hate it, but what choice do I have while they're learning, and I am supervising?]

[Some of our pavements are cycle paths, but there are signs up showing this, although I have been shouted at for using one.]
