Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Though the term Housewife Pillowcase is really fucking ridiculous. Are househusbands not allowed to use them?

(Oh, I quite like my Oxford pillow cases. )

Every fucker else in the world is grinding my gears. Having spent 3 hours doing Club 'stuff' they can all fuck right off.
I have hardly spoken to OH.
I have missed my planned YouTube yoga sesh with Adriene.

It's like being at work, but I don't get paid.

Who knew pillowcases had names?
From extensive reseach on the web (in the last 2 mins), not wiki, so it must be true ...

"In the 19th Century had a simple opening at one end, and often the pillow would fall out. In the 1880's the Housewives Co-operative in Bolton adapted a standard pillowcase to include an inside flap at the end, keeping the pillowcase in place. They then became known as "Housewife" pillowcases in the co-operatives honour."

[The Oxford pillowslip functions much like the Oxford comma in that it's not strictly necessary, but lends a certain je ne sai quoi to your bed, or writing.]
