Telephone call and text received to say that bed cannot be delivered as it was damaged. Rebooked for today. Old one not collected and chased up to be told that they had a problem with their van and it would have to be collected after the Bank Holiday. New bed arrives this morning minus the headboard. Chased up - no reply as yet. OK, things can go wrong but the whole CBA attitude from more than one service area really got to me. Back on the phone to both parties...

On the other hand, the utter fuckwittery of the people speeding on our road, where the 20mph limit is completely justified: narrow residential street, tightly parked on both sides, two schools round the corner. Often the speeders are the parents of the dear cherubs at said schools, precisely the people that the speed limit is there to protect.

I had to dash off for a wee right before the end, I ran further than the course because I had to run to the loo and back and IT’S NOT A FUCKING RACE.
