Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Supermarket doorways that are impossible to get in or out of without getting in the way of customers coming the other way. It is poor design mainly, abetted by the incredible lack of awareness some people demonstrate. Shallow, narrow entrance ways cluttered with security furniture and promotional stock. Why not have separate in and out doors?Tesco, I'm looking at you.

People taking their children out of school a day early as if it's some divine right.

(Eldest is worried that they'll have no friends to play with today - unlikely, but you know how kids worry)

[I didn’t realise this was a thing ERM - explains why I saw so many children on my way into work with their parents/grand parents who clearly weren’t going to school today.]

My annoying colleague, who insists on calling everyone by their full name virtually every time he talks to them - I don’t need to be addressed by my first and surname every time you ask me a question!
