Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

You’d think the bacon/parsley combination wouldn’t work and... you’d be absolutely right

Stupid Lego keyring being sold by a school for £8.50 "£1 goes to your school".

Who would not sooner pay £1 in taxation than acquire an extra bit of junk for £.50?

You are hard pushed to beat Bacon. Sausages. Eggs. Toast. Coffee. It terms of cooked breakfast that is it, the rest is affectation. Black Pudding, I had to think long and hard about black pudding but I think long and hard about all sausage type foods.

Oh the royal wedding. There needs to be a charter where BBC1 or ITV1 win and the other side must not mention it on pain of death, or any other channel.

The royal watchers can get their fill and the rest of us, the majority by some margin can at least have a normal day.

[I'm looking forward to the royal wedding. I'm thinking, everyone watching telly, the roads will be clear, perfect day for a bike ride.]
