Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

You're watching a video on say BBC News or similar and you see something that catches your eye and want a closer look. You pause the video and immediately the whole screen is obscured by 'here's some other stuff you might be interested in' crap. Well, I might well be interested but tell me later !

Trying to buy yogurt. Not with all the fat replaced by sugar. Not with the fat intact and 15% sugar added (Skyr). Not with lumps or goo to add as you serve it. Not made of emulsifiers, gelatine or cornflour.

Yes, exactly that Chris. I’ve given up eating yoghurt except for plain stuff now, it’s just too much effort to find non-faux yoghurt.

We ought to make our own. I reckon that yogurt takes up 1/60th of the shelf space in our Sainsbury's and yesterday I couldn't find what I wanted.

I've started eating proper plain Greek yoghurt, full fat. Not that "Greek style" that's full of extra cream and stuff, but properly made in Greece. Until recently I only found it in M&S and Waitrose but Sainsbo's has started selling it in their "taste the difference" range.

Noisy neighbours. I want to enjoy this nice weather in a bit of peace and quiet. Worse still, it's Mrs P's relatives and they are completely incapable of talking quietly. 😡
