Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

[WL - if you use half a tank driving locally, or in rush hour traffic, the fuel economy will be relatively poor. The car is probably programmed to assume that some of your miles will be driven on open roads, and the estimate is based on that.]

Yesterday I failed to find redbush tea in Sainsbury's. I can't believe there was none among the 3,000,000 different sorts of tea on their shelves.There was LOTS of "spiced turmeric" "tea".

Idiot polls with no fucking answers just so that the Red Cross can’t be erased. Not funny, just fucking annoying.

LOL oh dear Angus :-)

BBC business news, surely the biggest news currently is not that the beast form the east slowed up Greggs profits?

Car (and even worse, bike) fuel indicators are more a "guide" than a "gauge" in my experience.

@lammo, just did a comparison:

BBC: "Greggs shares tumbled on Wednesday after the bakery chain said that March's cold snap had hit sales. The Beast from the East forced temporary closures of several stores and added to overall weaker trading in early spring."

FT: "Vodafone has struck a deal to buy Liberty Global’s cable networks in Germany and eastern Europe in a blockbuster €18.4bn takeover that is the most significant industry consolidation in the region in more than a decade."

To be fair, it's also on BBC News, just not the top story; pastries take priority (and now BMW's, apparently!)
