Fragile Do Not Bend
Thanks Mark I’ve bookmarked that. I’ll also check my employee handbook as it might just be my line manager making wrong assumptions.

The blind panic of authorities and those issuing totally overblown snowstorm alert warnings. It's winter FFS. It sometimes snows. Stop winding everyone up to cover your arses. Those in the North are used to it and will cope fine. Those in the South, stop being hopeless, put your big boys/girls pants on and use some common sense. It'll be gone in a couple of days anyway. |

Sweary pop songs. Exhibit: Dua Lipa's current single "IDGAF:" You say you're sorry But it's too late now So save it, get gone, shut up 'Cause if you think I care about you now Well, boy, I don't give a [EXPLETIVE DELETED FOR RADIO AIRPLAY] I kind of expect this from our sweary gangsta hip-hop chums but, for some reason, I find it really annoying on a mainstream pop song getting played on Radio 2. I guess I've come a long way, baby, from enjoying singing along to Bodies by the Sex Pistols but at least that wasn't a single being played by old Wogan while the nation enjoyed their cornflakes. |

I really really really hated that song that went '[Bleep] you, you [bleep] I don't want you back' that got to number 1 and stayed there for weeks.

Giving weather a name. I can see the benefit of the alphabetical names but this beast from the east stuff is grinding my gears. And while I'm here - adding England etc to the end of things to create a brand. Sport England pah NHS Scotland Yeuch Team GB Aaaaargh. |

Sigh
Totally agree XB; when I first heard reference to 'Beast from the East' I assumed it was the marketing name for some boxing match so I ignored it.
