I was on the pavement of a busy (and very pedestrian unfriendly) crossroads. It was rush hour, so the junction quickly filled up with cars that were turning right. Mr Taxi wanted to go straight on (down a little-used road) and decided to mount the pavement to do so. My yelp of "This is a pavement" was responded to with "She's [his fare] running late". Oh well, that's all very good then. Please do run over my feet. growl

But next time something grinds my gears I'll be sure to check with you if it's 'snobby' before I post.
