Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

decorum
Utility companies which dig up footways on both sides of a road at the same time, put no pedestrian barriers to try to give some protective right of way, provide no assistance to wheelchair users to get onto and off the kerb, dig across one half of road junctions without providing road users a way of avoiding oncoming traffic.

That stretch of road has been quite interesting for the past fortnight! ;-)

Decorum, having worked in that industry for a very long time, that's a whole tranche of breaches of streetworks laws. Ring them and complain.

Tossers who think that letting doors slam at eleven o'clock at night is acceptable behaviour. It takes all of two seconds to close a door gently and doesn't wake up those of us who have only just managed to get to sleep despite the railway, the main road and the utter lack of sound insulation.

The Quasi Celeb status afforded to Moors Murderer Ian Brady in certain sections of the press.

Stick him in an unmarked grave and forget him.

WS, I thought that bit of the in/v where LM didn't realise it was 1% was hilarious. She's obviously a much better triathlete than mathematician :-)

And as for Brady, I think the coroner has the right idea.
