Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Similar to the above, people feeling obliged to jump on the "sympathy bandwagon" sharing pointless duplicate posts, disinformation, and bogus advice which only hinders.

Think before you post. Is your contribution necessary or helpful? No one is going to think "xxxx hasn't said anything this terrible thing, they must be a heartless, unfeeling, horrible person."

The headline on today's Metro. A copy is on our staff room table, it's offensive.

Yes , Hitch ,I'm certain that terrorist cells all over Syria and Libya were disbanding in defeat as " Don't you forget about me " reached its dreary conclusion last night ....

so what would have been achieved if the concert didn't go ahead? were the fans supposed to sit at home mourning instead of going to see the band that they had bought tickets for?

I think Zorba maybe just doesn't like Simple Minds.

Ironically. :-)

Jono.
I also think that Zorba doesn't like simple minds - which is fair enough.
