Some journalists are very good, there are, in fact very few journalists left, most are, diarists and columnists, who bang a particular drum, leader writers and editors, who bang a drum for their current organ, reporters or autocue readers.

Commuting.
Yes, I know 70 mph on the motorway is a limit and not a target. Yes I understand that I may possibly be speeding, however, it isn't your job to police that.
Yes, I know you're perfectly entitled to, and you absolutely should, drive at 55 mph if you deem that speed to be appropriate for the conditions. But do you have to do it in the overtaking lane when the inside lane is clear for miles?
Can you not see the motorcycle, lit up like a Christmas Tree, rapidly gaining on you?
Your positioning means I either have to slow down, change lane and sit behind you, hoping you'll eventually notice me and move over or, stay in the inside lane and undertake you (it's a two lane motorway). Neither action would be necessary if you understood the concept of lane discipline.

Alpenrose - very likely the driver was on the phone though Given the sheer number I pass on the bike and see fiddling with their phone, I'd make a wager every time, knowing that over time I would make money.

Politics on facebook. If I want to read the Guardian - which I rarely do, because it's about as unbiased as the Daily Mail and has fewer videos of kittens doing stupid things - then I'm perfectly capable of going to the website myself. I really don't want reposts without even any original comment getting in the way of the stupid kitten videos that facebook has decided that I want to see more than pictures of my actual friends (ok, they're right about that...)
