My dad died on his 61st birthday Greppers. I was relieved to get past that milestone.
I’m a year older than my mum was when she died at 57 so was also glad to pass that milestone. My dad is still going at 84 so here’s hoping

Those milestones do matter don't they? My Dad died at 61 and I was very glad to get past that age. My Mum was 97 when she died so here's hoping I've got some of longevity genes to counterract Dad's raised cholesterol and high blood pressure ones.

For me, ignorance of parental 'conditions' or illnesses is bliss. I was adopted and know virtually nothing of my parents at birth. Medical types, naturally, find this less than helpful.

There are three occurrences of concupiscence in the King James Bible. It is also one of the English translations of the Koine Greek epithumia (ἐπιθυμία), which occurs 38 times in the New Testament.

Sue read the epistle in church this morning. The first problem was working out how to pronounce it. What it meant was largely secondary.
