Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I've noticed a few people buying shares in me, just a warning however that there are a few 50 mile weeks in August and September when I was doing WSW multiplayer still to drop out, my current average is 30 miles a week, so you stand to loose 20 points a week by holding me. Best option is to day trade me on Monday's, Wednesday's and Fridays :)

I'm day trading based on your thread input earlier saying you are going for a run soon!

CW - the message was: "For those interested, I'm not running tomorrow, but may be doing my normal Friday morning 10-13 miles, I know how much you guys like a morning runner!"

And for those day traders who have started following my training today (you know who you are), I expect you're wondering, 'surely VJ runs and is back by 6.30am - is he ok? Shall I sell and reinvest - or hang on a bit longer'.

I guess time will tell what the right tactic was :)

I bought someone last night who I believed to be a morning runner and I can see they have run today but their points in my portfolio hasn't changed I don't know if this means its slow to upload or whether the exact same number of miles dropped off at midnight that they then went and ran this morning..... don't know what to do as I'd intended to be reinvesting my presumed profit by now!

How To Play
As a trader, your job is to pick the runners that you think will increase in value.

You start with 1000 credits, and can use these to purchase shares in runners. If you think their mileage is about to drop, then it's time to sell.

Runner values are calculated based on the total volume of running mileage completed in the last 90 days. Values are recalculated as soon as a runner has logged a run.

Runners get a notification when you buy shares, but not when you sell them.

The value of a runner can go up or down, but don't threaten them. Have fun!
