There's also the lido in Stroud everyoneactive.com - not as good as Cheltenham's but better than nothing and Cirencester's little open air pool cirenopenair.org.uk I'm biased but Sandford lido in Cheltenham is the best of the three

Not in this pic, but there's some buildings to the side (cafe, changing rooms etc) with flat roofs and we used to sunbathe on them, but not allowed any more. Lots of rock pooling, and general messing around down there. Obviously it's right by the sea and gets a lot of damage. There is a community group that is trying to maintain it, but this pic was taken middle of May Some info about it here. shoalstonepool.com
