Kanajlo Jun 2021 10:50am, 5 Jun 2021 187 posts	0 Kanajlo As a non-swimmer I did not pay much attention to the derelict pool I used to walk past when I lived in Ponty in the early and late 00s, but I've revisited the town more recently and repeatedly ran past what is now the The National Lido of Wales! which sounds quite impressive. rctcbc.gov.uk I still can't swim though.

I saw Hampton Pool in the list of nearby alternatives. The photo on their website shows it steaming away in winter - heated all year round and no need for wetsuits. hamptonpool.co.uk

Groundhog Jun 2021 4:54pm, 12 Jun 2021 2,440 posts	0 Groundhog Hampton pool on Friday afternoon. It's at the West end of Bushy Park and it's very popular just now. 36m and 8 lanes which felt a little narrow with so many people there. It was quite warm too at about 28C.
