Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Easy-osie. How was Tilly, whoever ran it? Looking at the results, speedy speedy. 90th percentile under the hour. If I'd ran, think I'd have been behind the VM80 (1:07:52 chip).

Tilly was a speed fest, Morag Millar broke the female course record. Robbie Simpson was second to a Cambuslang runner.

I had thought of trying to hold on to a friend, but he was too fast for me, he was 45:04 but only third in the over 70sπŸ˜‚

I noticed that also - how annoying to run that time and be third in cat at a local race! Noticed that Fiona Matheson is now over 60 and was first V60-64 overall (though not first V60+).

I think Fiona broke some record. The worst for Bobby being third is that he’s 79πŸ˜€

And Happy New Year to you all. Ridiculous January weather at Elgin parkrun to see in 2022, we've had colder in midsummer

A guid New Year tae yin an aw :-) Having a wee car picnic at Springburn Park after the year's first parkrun. Fastest 5K of the year! It would have been warm were it not for the wind raging across the park.

Also the first outing for a new Fetch shirt :-) Actually arrived Xmas Eve (thanks Fetch!) but I saved it for a proper run.
