Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

I have closed it. I presume when you're at home the Bluetooth doesn't matter?

Question and not sure if it belongs here or on the other thread but wondering about the app. As I understand it if you come in contact with someone who tests positive for covid the app will tell you but not a time/date. I am doing f2f appointments all day with PPE and our personal belongings are stored in the same room so will be within 2m of my patients and their phones. If I keep the app on all the time will I have to then self isolate it told I have had a contact even if that contact is more than likely to be when I'm wearing PPE? My contact with anyone outside work for any prolonged time is virtually zero

As I understand it, if you are wearing PPE (presumably better PPE than just a simple mask) then you should turn the app off whilst working.

Anna - we’ve had a letter from school saying the app should be switched to not tracking while a phone is in a locker at school. Apparently you can put a timed reminder on it to remind you to switch it back to tracking.

I think you’d also get an idea on date, by the 14 day isolation period. Not sure if the time/hours is accurate enough to give you a time?

Thanks all, turning the app off should work and a reminder to turn it back on would be useful
