He was supposed to have travelled to Tel Aviv for work straight after Chinese new year but this was cancelled when the travel ban came in. The government have imposed compulsory wearing of facemasks.

super market shelves are empty but he can still get Corona beer.

My son is at York University. He lives a few hundred yards from the hotel where the first cases in britain were detected.

No, but I regret to report that several people have presented to the department concerned because they've developed a cough within days of eating food from the Chinese takeaway.

And we've all had to sign a piece of paper to say we've read the official NHS document about coronavirus.

My sister lives in Hong Kong. I sent her a care package of masks and gloves at the weekend. Masks are getting hard to find even here.

We suspect she's already had it - she had a fairly unpleasant bug just after flying back after New Year.

Fragile Do Not Bend
Not so far. We both had a nasty bug about the time it first hit the news. My husband got it worse and had to have 2 lots of antibiotics, the second time he went to the Dr she asked if he’d been to China recently (he hasn’t).
