Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch
or for an ad-free Fetcheveryone experience!

Ah - so it definitely won't work from here: fetcheveryone.com/forum-watchlist.php

but it *should* be working in the little notification box that pops up when there are new posts.

Hi fetch. Here is what I’m doing.

I refresh the forum page and see a notification.

I select the link from that box, and get the below. These posts displayed are from earlier in the day that I’ve already read, and are at the top of the page. There are 3 or 4 posts below this on the page, and the last of the 3 or 4 was new to me.

Hey fetch, maybe a “are you sure” pop up on the mute buttons. It’s easy to accidentally hit them on a phone.

I am wondering if it's when a forum page includes a photo. When jumping down the page, the browser calculates the amount of travel - but it might be doing this before the image loads - and the image then pushes the lower content further down.

Not sure fetch. This page from “Pro Cycling thread” has no pictures and is where I was getting the issue described in the screenshots above.

Fetch - are avatar photos included in that calculation (ie if you have avatars switched on is that perhaps an issue ?)

For me it doesn't move at all, stays at the top of the page.
