Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Joops - yep. From Nottingham I think?

When I was in Sleaford they probably hadn't been born.

I don’t think you’re that old mate.

Awesome night last night at Pop Recs in Sunderland to celebrate Dave Harper.

Some brilliant sets from various acts with Ross Millard from the Futureheads playing with Field Music and singing Blockbuster by Sweet!

Not sure where else to post this but has anyone else seen Get Back, The Beatles documentary? If you’ve any interest in the band, their song writing process, etc, it’s worth a watch. It’s on Disney Plus so if you’ve no interest in the service just cancel it afterwards. It’s three episodes of around 2hrs, cut together from many hours of footage and audio recordings.

Skinny Lister at The Garage tonight. We stopped off at Pho for some pre-gig food, and then realised half the band were in here too...

Tigercub in London this week with The Rills in London and the following night in Lincoln.

I think that completes my December gig going.

I have Schrodinger's Gig on 12th April in Islington. Saint Motel are Cancelled and yet also playing that day.

To be fair this gig has been rescheduled so many times, it'll be amazing if this does actually happen.

Ooh Joops, we have just got into Yard Act.

Pom Poko at The Boilerroom in Guildford last night. They were fabulous and I liked the support, too. And we got to hang out with the band afterwards.

Was it McG who hated the venue? I can see why but I was standing in a good spot.
