Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

This was an ultraboost advert from a couple of years ago, promising 20% energy return. No one seemed to have an issue with it then. Only difference now is that Nike actually seemed to have delivered on their advert.

They had no issue because it was BS marketing. No point worrying about something that isn't real.

20% extra foam is all that advert promises quantitatively. That's not really much of a boast - or boost :-)

I saw a pair of pink Nikes on the feet of the woman who finished in first place at a local 10k today in a time that was a decent PB. I got quite excited - Berlin pinks in the actual flesh! - but she told me she couldn't have parted with £240 for a pair of daps and they were the Zoom Fly 3.

Underfoot conditions were fine and I wished I'd worn my Vaporfly 4%. Might have made the difference between 5th and 6th F50 muppet

SKR - it's come to something when it's noteworthy that a leading runner isn't in VFs!

I saw what looked like the new VaporFlys at Edinburgh Parkrun today. Quite a significant amount of extra foam across the whole sole.

So I got these last September (2019)

I dont track mileage per shoe as I dont run much but I believe these shoes have done over 1200miles I have also used a pair of Nike Flyknit which I dislike as they move, some spikes and spent a little time in some speedcross. Worst case is 1000 miles.

I'm impressed.

Only stopping now as they are splitting at the small toe and the left footplate feels a little worse for wear, new pair out the box tomorrow, I may even log them and track the miles better.

1200 miles in two months and that’s not running much? 😉 that’s almost 20 miles per day!
