Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I think we can do them. When we have a lead of 200 and the momentum then the match will look very different. England to win, but narrowly 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

I just watched the highlights, I Like the comment "at last Burns makes a contribution", and Malan's shot that nearly accounted for Cummins' teeth.

Not seen them yet. How did Malan look? Given he’s a T20 specialist it would be ironic if his technique held up better than red ball specialists like Burns.

I still worry about Hameed, guts and defence but if you can hardly get the ball off the square you can never transfer pressure, spread the field and give yourself a chance of making a real score.

He always played well for middx in county cricket, the T20 is a later day re-invention.

Looked good and straight, radio comm had him playing a few flaky shots at the end when he seemed to tire a little.

I have everything crossed.

England to lose still. Too many flat track bullies in the Aussie line up and a lack of bite in the English bowlers. The only hope is to rack up a massive score to waste the days left.

I'm fully expecting to wake up tomorrow to news of a defeat.

I may stay up late enough to be sure that it isn't by an innings...

Burns got a pretty much unplayable one. I think there's enough in the deteriorating pitch that batting out the day seems a bit of a forlorn hope.
