Given he’s a T20 specialist it would be ironic if his technique held up better than red ball specialists like Burns. I still worry about Hameed, guts and defence but if you can hardly get the ball off the square you can never transfer pressure, spread the field and give yourself a chance of making a real score.

Looked good and straight, radio comm had him playing a few flaky shots at the end when he seemed to tire a little. I have everything crossed.
