Advocate doesn't cover ticks, we have a seresto collar for that, but it does cover lots of other things including lungworm and (I think) ear mites. Advocate does stink though, we have to be very careful to remember not to stroke Charlie's neck for a day or so after putting it on! |

Vet switched us from Frontline to Simparica a year or so back - I think the suggestion was that in our area resistance was building up to Frontline. Simparica covers both fleas ad ticks

Great photo ![]() We looked after Hattie yesterday afternoon while son2 and BF went to see Avengers Endgame. We also had friends staying for the weekend and while we were busy chatting we didn't notice Hattie nibbling my new (and expensive) Afghan rug ![]() The advice to parents to never turn your back on a two year old applies to puppies too ![]() |

Impressive stick haul. 20 miles on the West Highland Way for Ernie today. He dragged me the last 2 miles and made a beeline straight for Loch Lomond. I think he knew the water was near. |

Lovely photo of Jess - and well done Ernie I don't think Wanda would manage anything like 20 miles!

This is a terribly sad story - for all concerned - and it probably would have been appropriate for the owners of the greyhound to offer to pay vets fees etc........ but I am not sure exactly why the police have got involved as I have always believed dog on dog to not be a police matter? suffolk.police.uk |
