Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

I'd find it hard to pay that kind of money for a house on an estate. It's nicely done though.

Now this, on the other hand, has bags of potential. I'd love to get my hands on that in retirement.

This house was on the route from home onto Grindleton Fell. I believe it is owned by the family that ran Taskers Furniture company in Accrington.

The location is enough to win me over but the golf room and the gym seals the deal.

Mrs D had picked out this one for us. The two downsides I can see is the proximity to what I think is a fairly busy road and it being an hour drive to work for me. The attractions are the quiet south facing garden, the 4 bedrooms, and the price.

Nice, though I’m not sure I could live with the wallpaper in the study. The bottom half of the garden offers “scope” if one were so inclined

Really like that one Dio. Doesn't seem stupidly expensive for down south.

Nice but you need more than one bathroom for four bedrooms.

How about a fake mansion for £6 million (only 15 years old):
