Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Yeah I like that, would need a door putting in so you didn't need to walk though the hall to the bedrooms and why is the fridge in the naughty corner?

That coastal one...no thanks. Ridiculous price for a very tired project house.

We visited the Slate Islands in March and everywhere was noticeably a few weeks ahead of home in Yorkshire in terms of things being in flower and trees having leaves and so on. Arduaine gardens has a lot of tender/ tropical things that definitely would not grow here. Obviously very mild in winter. Shuna is sheltered by Luing. I'd imagine a lot depends on whether the house is on the west or east side of the island's hill.

With a lottery win i'd love that.

Do you reckon you could persuade a team of builders to live on the island restore the castle?
