Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

No nationals for me this year - just easing in with club stuff and surrey league.

So opening run was held in 27 degree heat and completely dry ground today. Still despite the boil fest I loved it. 3.9 miles around Richmond Park. Its a handicap and I am non scoring but still managed to finish second across the line and had no one pass me (whoop), improved my wava from the previous outing but not the same course. I also earned a silver medal for being second fastest woman over the course :)

A good second bash at XC despite the most unXC like conditions! My next one is the end of Sept I think. Looking forward to some mud!

The first race of the Frostbite series was held in 27 degree Celcius heat last year. September XC races can be odd. You had a good run today, Curly! :-)

First race for me Saturday. If this rain carries on I'm guessing it may be a bit damp underfoot! :-)

I had promised to do some training for this year's cross country season. I've done none. The first one is going to hurt.

I've not trained (running anyway) all summer, but I don't think I can resist the XC season. The first league match is 20th October. If I can get a month of decent training in, that might give me the platform to train through the winter and try and be in reasonable shape by the time the (Scottish) Nationals come round in Feb. :)
