Recover well Baz I'm in awe of you all Wow Vixx 3000 days is mind-boggling I have yearnings but sometimes work gets in the way I struggle to sleep as well after a night shift. On Day 4 atm 😂 |

FRU (KeepTheFaith) I only managed a saver today but it was enough and something that switts would have found a kind word to communicate. Wish I could have gone yesterday, still seems unreal that he’s not around 😞 |

I was lucky enough to be working at home UD and I asked if it was ok to take the hour to be online and watched knowing Northern was also online as were some others. It was a very lovely and warm event with two of his close friends and also Ian speaking about him. It felt like he was our friend and it felt like we were saying goodbye on behalf of everyone. Very moving. For me (and hopefully you and others in here) words said that he will be with us in spirit half a step behind will keep him close. I know we all held him in very high regard and rightfully so It’s a very odd feeling isn’t it. A real loss |

It’s the first online funeral I have seen and I was very impressed how the service had been put together you almost could have been sat with them all Not a Streak today was in our open countryside all around the estuary here that was a nice one today. |

FRU (KeepTheFaith) I have just managed to work out how to view the recording of the service and it brought me to some tears😥 I only met Swittle once in person and that was at Freckleton half marathon (2008) which by coincidence I am returning to in June having last ran there in 2011! |

Wasn’t it Dunc! Very very moving and so beautifully put together. A really well done goodbye and you could really feel the love for him in that room. I also love that it’s brought us all a reminder to stay together.. virtually is as important isn’t it. And being kind costs nowt. I’m glad you got to see it

I’m already crying reading these posts so I won’t watch, but I do feel that Swittle managed to touch most of us in some way, I’m sorry if my choice of words is ‘wrong’! Back with a streaksaver today after a decent slow marathon Sunday and a 2 bug crushing 5 miles yesterday! I’ve been referred to the hospital for a foot x Ray so we can rule out stress fracture! |
