Here we go again, 10k this morning, 44.24, exactly the same time as a 10k last month, much windier, more undulating course, so perhaps a better run, a tad quick early on, tough slop at round 6k cost me....good WAVA

It has nothing to do with my long term WAVA target being 80%, of course.

I like the idea of thinking in seconds, WS. I'm still a way off 26min 5ks atm, though.

When I started running I only ran half marathons. My first 10k I got 40:01. It took another 6 or 7 attempts before I got a chip time of 39:59 :).
With the halfs I was coming down towards 1:30 and finally got 1:30:00. Then wasn't comfortable as that can't count as *breaking* 1:30. A couple of hms later I did get 1:29:xx

I ran a half marathon on Sunday. My Garmin time gave me a WAVA of 60.01%. When I checked the official results, my time was 2 seconds slower. WAVA 59.99%.
