Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

yes... given the available options.
I can relate to the 'fib' on the cv which was a claim to have completed a low value educational course in catering which he used to fill a gap. This country is obsessed with degrees regardless of what they are in. 'Must be a graduate' is a laughable yet common requirement in job adverts.
I agree about the bullying even though I don't remember Lee being as bad as the others.

He was horrible to sara one week, I remember him ganging up on her with the others after the task saying if you don't pull your weight when you're in my team you'll be out and he was really nasty with it.

Still think Raif should have got the job.

SLOW RAMBLER
Ok.. Lee won... I think the right 2 were in the final 2.... what we see on TV is edited by the "pweors that be" so we never really see the entire story... Lee did make mistakes, but so did Claire, personally in my own business I wouldn't employ either of them... but for what Sugarbaby wants both would suit him... next thing... who would be better to control, to mould in to the empire in the great big sugar cube? Claire would be unlikely to mould in to a cube she'd be more intent on doing her own thing.... she need not worry... if she goes the Badger way she'll do very well, and I think that she and Badger have similar qualities... Lee however would be easier to "control" in the cube environs!! So... Sugarbaby had to look and see which personality suited his business best.. and only he knows that!!!

For all those apprentice wanabees..... over here on the aul sod, one of the TV stations TV3 is having its own apprentice show.... so.... if you dare.... but it's not sugarbaby it's some other bloke.... www.tv3.ie

sorry guys but the whole Lee lying on his CV thing.. it's not like he said he HAD a degree, I agree it was a bad thing to do but the guy obviously had an issue about his educational background and did a stupid thing to cover it up. I watched the programme on the final 5 and their backgrounds, and Lee came across as the most genuine candidate of the lot. So I'm pleased he won and think he'll graft his arse off. Clare has already said she gets bored after 2 years in any job so I reckon Lee's more likely to last the distance.

The thing that got me about Lee's CV lies is that NO ONE ASKED HIM WHAT HE WAS ACTUALLY DOING during his missing year. What was it that he was actually covering up? It would be the first question on my lips, but they didn't ask it. WTF??!!

exactly, vicksta.

if he had said, 'i chose the wrong course, realised it and while I worked out what I wanted I worked in a bar/hotel/restaurant/supermarket' then it would be one thing but a great big gap.....

oh well. i am sure Claire will do very well. probably better than lee. (and the point about fitting into a culure and business is a good one)

I'm glad Lee won. Claire was an awful awful person. She came across as a very sore loser on Breakfast this morning too :( . Helene was a complete disaster and Alex was only 24.
