Well I'm sure the track wont be as bad as this one!

Sounds like 3 of us will probably be in the same race! This will be interesting. I would personally only train on Wednesday Adders.

Line up announced for Coventry. And a huge turn up.

The three of us are indeed in the same race. The D race at 2:17 with the pacemaker going through in 58. pdavey and Blister, youre in the inside lanes, so beware, because its a big field!

We get to spectate Alex in the 5000 at 1:52 first though :)

Sick turn out.

A bit pissed being in the 2nd of 2 races but stoked to have someone pacing out 75s that'll do nicely just hope they put in at least 2k!

Great to see you guys all in the same race look forward to that!

Yeah Alex, don't go blowing up and delaying us now ;)

I just read this (and the start list) and now I'm starting to feel very nervous! Calf's are very sore today, still a little under the weather and tired - ok apart from that! Hopefully I will be fine after 2 more nights sleep!

Why are they pacing the A 5000 at 69s? There's not one guy in the field who could run close to the 14:22 it converts to. Oh well.

Do my best boys ;)

I know Johnny it's stupid they do it a lot. Though supposably they run at what athletes ask. I should be one of the fastest of my race and I asked for 76s and they have just one pacer running 75s meh.

Blister: How come youre not feeling so good? You seem to be doing ok looking at your training log. Just rest well, you should be fine. Although I do feel for you somewhat that youre on the inside lane.

Alex: Surely a 75 sec pacer serves you well?

The only thing im nervous about (apart from the fact this is my first race in over 4 weeks) is the large field. Im one of the faster guys in my field on paper. Theres not a single guy whos ran sub 2 and theres a few guys I could compete with in the C race (a smaller field) so maybe that would suit me better. Ah well... cest la vie. Should be a good race nonetheless...

Theres two bloody rapid U15s in our race!

My advice to you guys is to keep concentration right up to the gun. Make sure you have a fast reaction time and get out before the 2 guys either side of you, don't let up ground until you're where you want to be.

Adders - Yes serves me well I'll go with that. No-one in that run has ran 75s pace 5000m and I think they could do with a second pacer at around 16.30 pace.
