Hi ,
It looks like you're using an ad blocker.

The revenue generated from the adverts on the site is a critical part of our funding - and it's because of these ads that I can offer the site for free. But using the site for free AND blocking the ads doesn't feel like a great thing to do, which is why this box is so large and inconvenient. Some sites will completely block your access, but I'm not doing that - I'm appealing to your good nature instead. Did you know that you can allow ads for specific sites, whilst still blocking them on others?

Thanks,
Ian Williams aka Fetch

Ironman 70.3 races consist of a 1.2 mile swim, a 56-mile bike and a 13.1 mile run.

220 - Swim 400m

Bike 23km

Run 5km

Is that right? I can see why 70.3 is 70.3 (got a Maths degree and everything) but why is a 220 called a 220?

Final post:

Katie, I've inserted my favourite biscuit (Garibaldi, since you ask) - what do I do now? Not sure I want to eat it anymore.

Oh I love garibaldi biscuits.

I'm intrigued. You've inserted a garibaldi and you're still here typing.

I'm definately sticking with sprint distance. I don't have time to do decent training for anything else.

Plus, the sprint was hard enough.

And, I was home by 10.15, coffee by 10.30.
