Triathlon is like It's a Knock Out for everyone. Great fun. I fell over, did I say?! Stuart Hall was laughing in the background and team GB lost 10 points as I slipped and fell around. Or was that Jeux Sans Frontiers? :-)G

How is everyone? I did a trial run for my triathlon in a couple of weeks. Bike and swim were slightly slower than I am capable of due to previous bike/swim this week. Run was absolutely great for 2 miles. Last 0.7 were getting painful so I cut it slightly short. Happy enough with times under circumstances and delighted that I can do the whole lot. My transitions were clunky to say the least. No tri suit so had to throw on shorts and top and had to unchain bike etc but didn't lose too much time I think

Sounds like great training HP. I think anything you do to give you confidence that you can complete the course and give you an idea of what to expect in transition is good. I've done a bike/run brick where I had to run upstairs to my flat to change my bottoms after I ripped my tights getting off the bike. It still counts.

That's good, it will save you a bit of transition time, for sure. Will you gt chance to practise swimming in it? I have to say it really felt fine swimming in tri kit for me, no problem if you don't get chance to practise.

I think after a bra/swimming costume/shorts/top combo a tri suit will be a dream to use. Hoping to get it this weekend so can use it next week before I start tapering. And getting a loan of a road bike next week to see if I wanna borrow it for the tri. Its all coming together

That's great. I still wore my sports bra with my tri suit, after 3 children, I can't afford not to.

I am lucky enough to be reasonably well endowed Katie so definitely need a bra too
Scribbler - I guess maybe I should pack some spare clothes for emergencies
