Finishing is my sole goal once again.

Not going to down a milkshake in nearly one go afterwards this time - let's just say coupled with dehydration / fatigue / not enough calories consumed, my stomach didn't appreciate it and it was next morning before I could even successfully sip fluids.

Thanks for the detail Scott - super helpful. So nervous I'm going to get lost though...

Some people did get lost after Fochabers woods last year. They went to the right instead of the left and ended up coming into the Spey Bay area along the road rather the gravel path to the left that comes out near the wildlife centre.

The Fochabers area needs a little more in the way of signposts / markings to be honest. Maybe there were more arrows painted on the ground but they got worn away by runners?

There's a bit in a park where it seems more natural to run along the path to the right yet you follow the treeline to the left which takes you under the road bridge etc. Someone told me to go that way as I had no idea where to go at that point and would have followed the footpath.

Very heavy rain here today and more forecast this week. Path a bit boggy in places at Cragganmore.
